Dorothy graduated from Wellesley College and is a member of the Cape Cod Writers Studio, the Project Connect Team, and the Cape Cod/South Shore Diversity Coalition. She has recently published an anthology, Postcards From a Pandemic: Living on Cape Cod During COVID-19 with contributions from writers and artists across all of Cape Cod.
